Richard Douyon

Richard Douyon, MD is a founding board member and current Executive Board Treasurer of Rebati Sante Mentale. Dr. Douyon is a Board Certified Psychiatrist in South Florida who is currently in private practice, serves as the Medical Director of the Behavioral Health Unit at North Shore Medical Center and is a Member of Hospital Operations & Clinical Care Committees. Dr. Douyon is also a retired Associate Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Douyon obtained his doctorate from National University of Haiti, Faculty of Medicine & Pharmacy and completed his internship and residency at NYU School of Medicine.  His areas of interest include psychopharmacology, neuropsychiatry, substance abuse, PTSD, TBI and neuro-psychiatric aspects of HIV/AIDS.
